Internet Browsers support a concept called browser history allowing users to revert to previously viewed web pages. stPro features a similar concept allowing users to return to previous views of a plot after performing zoom or pan operations. This provides a convenient way to revert to a preferred view when analyzing a trend.
Tip: The Browse History for a plot can be accessed directly via the Scale toolbar Back and Forwards buttons or via the associated hot-keys of Alt-left arrow and Alt-right arrow.
The Browse History dialog displays a list of the previously viewed plot durations, end times and scan statuses.
The first column of the dialog indicates the scan status (i.e. on/off-scan), the second the duration of the plot (in days, hours, minutes and seconds) and the third the end time of the plot (if not on-scan).
Tip: To revert to a previously view, simply select the required entry from the list. The current view is highlighted in a reverse colour.
Note: the list is actually a stack. If a previous entry is selected and the plot 'status' changed, the previous history will be replaced by the new view.
To access the Browse History for a plot, either
From the Plot menu, select Browse History.
OR
Right-Click on the required Plot and select Browse History.
OR
Right-Click over the Back or Forwards icons on the Scale Toolbar.
