Overview

The Plot file contains information relating to a specific plot window within an stPro Session.  

• A plot window can be automatically configured by loading a Plot File into an stPro plot window.  

• By convention Plot Files have an extension of '.sphPlot'.  

Tip:  By saving and restoring multiple Plot Files a user can build up a library of pre-defined 'plot views'.

Plot files contain items such as:

• The name to display on the plot window.

• The time period to display within the plot window.

• The Sapphire Data Repository (SDR) which the plot should use as the source for data items.

• The 'view' options that define the appearance of the plot (e.g. whether to display the left axis, the right axis, the time scroll bar etc).

• Details of each of the required pens (e.g. the required item name, the display name, the scale mode, the required pen colour etc).
