On the 5th of May, Jemmac will be entering The Geoffrey Leaver Corporate Challenge which runs alongside the Milton Keynes Marathon event, pitting teams of four runners against each other, each competitor running a leg of approximately 6.55 miles.
Team Jemmac is captained by James Slootweg, with the other runners being Greg Cooper, Alistair Henderson and James Coward.
The plan is for Greg to lead the off at the start, before passing the baton to the more experienced pairing of Alistair and James Slootweg for legs two and three respectively. Recent Jemmac joiner and running newbie James Coward will then take the glory leg, bringing the baton home to rapturous applause at stadiumMK!
- Leg 1: Greg Cooper, Start – Saxon Street, 10:00am.
- Leg 2: Alistair Henderson
- Leg 3: James Slootweg (Capt)
- Leg 4: James Coward, Finish – stadiumMK, some time later!
The official team support vehicle will collect the runners from their finish positions enabling the whole team to cheer James Coward home at the finish.
